Emirates has introduced new measures to provide passengers with greater flexibility when changing or cancelling their travel plans.
From August 10, 2026, passengers travelling to Dubai can make unlimited date changes without paying a change fee across most Economy and Business Class fares. Refund fees for Dubai flights have also been reduced to $25 or $50 depending on the fare type.
For tickets issued from April 2, passengers travelling anywhere across the Emirates network, including via Dubai, are entitled to one complimentary date change and can hold their selected fare free of charge for 24 hours.
Emirates also offers Comprehensive Travel Cover in 27 countries, covering trip cancellations, baggage disruption, unlimited overseas medical expenses and emergency evacuation. The policy also includes additional protection for conflict-related situations.
In cases of flight disruption, affected passengers may receive accommodation support and can be rebooked on alternative services to their final destination without additional charges.
Until August 31, Emirates Skywards members can also benefit from 20 percent lower Tier Mile requirements, 20 percent bonus Tier Miles on Emirates and flydubai flights, and enhanced Cash+Miles redemption value.
